If you liked the first Underworld you will like this one. It’s no better, no worse. The story does not elevate the concept of Werewolves vs Vampires. In some regards, the amalgam created in the first movie is underused. . The action was forgettable. It’s not that it didn’t happen ofter, but it was very light on substance. Selina removes her off the leather suit for a few moments. Kate Beckinsale is beautiful… really beautiful.
I’ve always loved the concept of Werewolves & Vampires so this movie may fall into the category of guilty pleasure rather than an actual good movie. That being said it captures the mood of the story, and these vampires don’t glitter in the sun.
