Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest is the most entertaining movie I’ve seen all year. Topping the original by far. Dead Man’s Chest was filled with action, adventure, comedy, and suspense all rolled up in a story with some of the best special effects out there. Sadly, Keira Knightley is dressed from head to toe as a Pirate for most of the movie. If your debating between movies right now, Pirates of the Caribbean is the best bang for your buck. You can wait for DVD for the others.
I had forgotten that they had decided to make Pirates of the Caribbean into a trilogy. As I would suggest with any trilogy, watch them in order. Otherwise the story and character development is lost to you. Dead Man’s Chest followed suit of “The Empire Strikes Back”. It obeys the rules of middle movies in great Trilogies. Ending on a series of cliffhangers and downers it leaves you hungry for the final installment. I was so entertained I didn’t even finish my soda.
