Full Metal Alchemist (Hagane No Renkinjutsushi) revolves around the laws of equivalent exchange. The series starts off rather slow, and rather kiddish. But rather quickly in the series writers start flexing their abilities. The main characters of Full Metal Alchemist are brothers practicing the art of Alchemy. A process of creating things from equal materials through a transmutation circle. The series begin with these brothers performing human Alchemy, which is forbidden, in an attempt to bring their mother back from the dead. This leaves the boys forced to search to the Philosophers Stone to undo what they have done. Once you get past the first few episodes, the series gets into full swing. Bring in new characters and a larger view of the world. You watch these two brothers grow through these experiences. This is a really good series, and definitely worth a watch.
