District B13 is a Sci-Fi action film staged in walled off District of Paris in 2010. A undercover cop is forced to team up with a native of this unsavory district in order to defuse a bomb. This was a very exciting film showcasing the talents of David Belle. For those of you that aren’t aware David Belle is the creator of a style known as Parkour (a form of running that uses the environment without the loss of momentum). The style is awesome to watch and the landscape they chose for the film added to the excitement. I wish there where more displays of Parkour throughout the movie. The characters where creative, and while this wasn’t a great movie in the conventional sense is a really good action movie.
Oh and don’t judge this movie by it’s webpage… i don’t know what they where thinking.
