The Art of Shunya Yamashita: MC A Nozuato 1/7 PVC

You can be certain that if Shunya Yamashita draws a character, and someone is around to see it, they will make it into a figure. It’s also a certainty that I will buy it, adding to my ever growing Yamashita collection. So it’s a delight to see that Run’A has released an original Shunya Yamashita figure based on his latest drawing, MC Nozuato.

Yamashita’s has incorporated the design of old World War II nose art into the gorgeous figure. Originally drawn for MC Akushizu, a quarterly moe mecha/military magazine in Japan, this figure stands at 1/7 scale (22 cm tall), and comes with a 12.7 mm M2 Browning machine gun accessory. And is as common place with many of Yamashita’s figures, her top can be cast off as you can see below.

To be honest it’s a bit surprising to see Run’A releasing a pvc figure like this considering they have very little experience in this type of market. Still, the craftsmanship is top notch and she looks great. My only complaint may be that her nipples aren’t clearly defined from the rest of her breasts. Perhaps a deeper shade of red might have suited it better. Hmm, now that sounds weird doesn’t it, and a bit perverted.
